The Things People Say.....

Life is short. Some days are better than others, but what I've found out is, there is usually something in every new day that will make you smile. It could be a Facebook status or picture, a text or phone call from a friend, or just something stupid a complete stranger says or does! Sometimes you just gotta laugh. For some reason every time I venture out, I generally come home telling my husband Ray some crazy story about my day, whether it's at work, the doctors office, or just picking up some groceries. People are hilarious! And.....they crack me up! So, I decided to start blogging some of these experiences and hope you will get a laugh out of them too.

So here we go......

I work at an appliance repair store. So....basically I answer phones and schedule service calls for people that have broken appliances. Well....that's not ALL I do. Actually that's the easy part, but it's also the most entertaining. I love the things customers say. Here are a few of my favourites!

You know you are talking to a farmer when he says....

"Yes, I have a problem with my front-END loader washer".... He's a farmer. He can't help it. To just say "front load" wouldn't be natural.

Here's another one..."I have a problem with my dryer, and it's a front load"... Honey they all are front load.

Or how about, "I absolutely love my new fridge. Everything works great in it, it just won't cool"......Yeah, well that's kinda the primary function of a fridge. Glad to hear your doors are closing good though!

And then there's, "I hooked up my dryer and I started seeing smoke coming from the back and there was a really bad burning smell, is that normal?" Yeah....it's a new thing that manufacure has come up with. It's TOTALLY normal, but keep a fire extinguisher close by....ya know...just in case!

Or..."My fridge is leaking from underneath"....really? That's odd.....they normally leak from the top. hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!! I love customer service! Sometimes it hard to resist the urge to laugh at these customers. But don't worry...I'm very professional, and I only make fun of them behind their backs!
